MM Lending was founded in 2005 by Jerry Plappert, as a private lender to serve the needs of real estate investors. Jerry had been an active lender to real estate investor friends, and saw the need for a private lender that would cater specifically to real estate investors. Banks did not offer loan products that would accommodate the investors’ needs for fast closings and creative lending terms. So Jerry raised some investment capital from some friends and began making loans in late 2005. Mike Fallot, a former partner of Jerry’s in CPA firm, and long time friend joined Jerry and assumed primary management responsibility for the business in 2007
